Can I reschedule or cancel a video chat session?

We understand schedules can change and unpredictable situations happen — here’s how rescheduling and cancellations work on Questionpoint:

General Policy

Attendees are expected to reasonably commit to scheduled sessions once a Booking is confirmed. However, if you need to reschedule or cancel, the following policies apply:

Rescheduling

  • Next Gens may reschedule a session with the Aficionado they have booked with only once per booking; any further changes will require a cancellation.
  • Each Next Gen may reschedule up to three times every three months. Beyond this, only cancellations will be allowed.
  • Aficionados are not permitted to reschedule sessions. However, if unforeseen circumstances arise, they may cancel the session per the below.

Cancellations

Attendees are allowed the following without incurring a cancellation fee:

  • - One cancellation less than 24 hours but no later than 2 hours before a session every three months.
  • - Two cancellations more than 24 hours before a session every three months.

Outside these allowances, a cancellation fee of 2.5% of the Booking Price will be charged to the cancelling party.

Additional requirements:

  • - The cancelling party must provide a reason for the cancellation and may submit supporting evidence.
  • - If a Next Gen cancels and incurs a fee, the fee will be deducted from the Aficionado Rate, and the remaining amount will be returned to the Next Gen’s Wallet as Questionpoint Credit.
  • - If an Aficionado cancels, the Next Gen will receive a full refund of the Aficionado Rate in Questionpoint Credit, and the Aficionado will be charged the Cancellation Fee, which will be deducted from their Wallet. If insufficient funds are available, the fee will be collected from the Aficionado's designated bank account via the payment gateway.
